Acropolis Tournament 2003

The 17th edition of the Acropolis Basketball Tournament 2003 took place between August 25 and 27, 2003 in Athens . As modernization work was being carried out on the Olympic Hall in view of the upcoming Olympic Games , the total of six games took place in the Glyfada sports hall in the south of Athens.

In addition to the hosting Greek national team , the national teams from Slovenia and Poland also took part. The field of participants completed the national team from Israel, which took part in the tournament for the first time.

The stars of the Acropolis tournament in 2003 included the Greeks Dimitrios Diamantidis and Theodoros Papaloukas, the Slovenian neighbor Boštjan .

The Greek Nikolaos Chatzivrettas was named MVP of the tournament .
