Acropolis Tournament 1988

The third edition of the 1988 Acropolis Basketball Tournament took place in Piraeus between June 3rd and 5th, 1988 . The six games were played in the Stadium of Peace and Friendship .

In addition to the host Greek national team , the national teams from Italy and Yugoslavia also took part. The field of participants was completed by a selection from Duke University in the United States .

The stars of the 1988 Acropolis Tournament included the Yugoslavs Toni Kukoč , Dražen Petrović and Vlade Divac, as well as the Greeks Nikos Galis and Panagiotis Giannakis .
