Acropolis Tournament 2002

The 16th edition of the Acropolis Basketball Tournament 2002 took place between June 14th and 16th, 2002 in the suburb of Marousi of Athens . The six games in total were held in the Olympic Hall .

In addition to the hosting Greek national team , the national teams from Italy and Lithuania also took part. The field of participants completed the national team from Croatia, which took part in the tournament for the first time.

The stars of the Acropolis tournament in 2002 included the Greeks Dimitrios Diamantidis and Theodoros Papaloukas and Arvydas Macijauskas and Ramūnas Šiškauskas from Lithuania.

The Greek Antonios Fotsis was named MVP of the tournament .
