Acropolis Tournament 1992
The sixth edition of the 1992 Acropolis Basketball Tournament took place in Piraeus between June 8 and 10, 1992 . The six games were played in the Stadium of Peace and Friendship .
In addition to the hosting Greek national team , the national teams from France and Italy also took part. The field of participants was completed by the team from Lithuania, which just a few weeks later won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Barcelona .
The stars of the Acropolis tournament in 1992 included the Greek Panagiotis Giannakis , Artūras Karnišovas , Rimas Kurtinaitis , Šarūnas Marčiulionis and Arvydas Sabonis from Lithuania.
