Acropolis Tournament 2000
The 14th edition of the Acropolis Basketball Tournament 2000 took place between September 1st and 3rd, 2000 in the suburb of Marousi of Athens . The six games in total were held in the Olympic Hall .
In addition to the hosting Greek national team , the national teams from Russia and Hungary also took part. The field of participants completed the national team from Brazil, which took part in the tournament for the first time.
The Greek Fragiskos Alvertis was awarded the MVP of the tournament .
