Acropolis Tournament 2008
The 22nd edition of the Acropolis Basketball Tournament 2008 took place between July 7th and 9th, 2008 in the suburb of Marousi of Athens . The six games in total were held in the Olympic Hall .
In addition to the hosting Greek national team , the national teams from Australia , Brazil and Croatia also took part. While Australia was only represented for the second time, Brazil and Croatia took part in the tournament for the third time.
The Greek Antonios Fotsis was named MVP of the tournament . The top scorer was Vasilios Spanoulis with a total of 46 points (15.3 on average).
