Patricio Sebastián Galaz Sepúlveda (born December 31, 1976 in Santiago de Chile ) is a former Chilean football player who scored 42 goals in 2004 and was the record scorer in the Primera División (Chile) and scored a total of 119 goals.

Career

In the club

Galaz was trained in the Chilean football club CD Universidad Católica . There he became champion in the 1996/97 season. After the season he moved first to the CD Antofagasta football club , to Coquimbo Unido after the 1997/98 season and finally to the CD Palestino club after the 1998/1999 season . After successful rounds, he joined the football club cobreloa for which he played from 2000/2001 to 2003/2004 and where he met with 42 goals Welttörjäger according to IFFHS was. He got u. a. nicknamed El Pato (the duck). After moving to the Mexican league , Galaz showed mediocre performance at FC Atlante (2004 to 2006), where he was loaned to CF Universidad de Chile in 2005 . There he played in the Copa Libertadores and scored two goals. In 2007 he returned to Chile, where he performed below average for one season at CF Universidad de Chile. Another career station followed at the Chilean club CD Ñublense . In 2008 Millonarios FC bought the player, who did not fulfill the contract and remained without a club. Finally, after a long break, he returned to CD Cobreloa in 2010 and ended his sporting career there.

International

Galaz played for Chile's U17 national soccer team and finished third in the 1993 World Cup . For the Chilean national soccer team , he played between 2004 and 2006 in his country's World Cup qualification and took part in the 2004 Copa America .
