Patrick Chauvet
Patrick Chauvet (born October 11, 1951 in Paris ) is a French archpriest and dean of the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral .
biography
Patrick Chauvet received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Paris in 1980 by Archbishop François Marty . On September 1, 2003, he was appointed Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Paris .
In June 2016 he was appointed "Archpriest of the Metropolitan Basilica Notre-Dame de Paris" with effect from September 1, 2016. On Saturday January 14, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Advisor to the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Order of the Sacraments .
As dean of the cathedral , he is the director of the Notre-Dame construction site in Paris and chairman of the cathedral chapter .
