Patrick Finke

Patrick Finke (born January 10, 1983 in Berlin ) is a German football player .

career

The Berliner started playing American football in his hometown in 1997, his first club being the Berlin Thunderbirds . This was followed by positions with the Berlin Rebels and the Spandau Bulldogs . The 1.96 meter tall defensive player became German champions in 2004 with the Berlin Adler . He switched to the Braunschweig Lions in 2006 . Finke, who works as a technician for machine technology, initially stayed with the team until the end of the 2011 season and won the German championship with Braunschweig in 2006, 2007 and 2008. In 2012 he played for the Berlin Rebels and then played flag football in Braunschweig , and in 2016 he returned to the Braunschweig Lions in the GFL . He contributed to the Eurobowl victories in 2016, 2017 and 2018 as well as to the German championship titles in 2016 and 2019.

In 2006 and 2007 Finke was under contract with teams in the NFL Europe : 2006 with Rhein Fire , 2007 with Berlin Thunder , for which he played with Braunschweig before the GFL season.
