Career

Ogunsoto began his European career with Cypriot first division club APOEL Nicosia in 2001. The following year he moved to Ergotelis in the Greek third division. In his first season he scored 30 goals in 32 competitive games for the team from the island of Crete . In 2006 he was named Player of the Year in the Greek Second League by PSAP, the Greek Association of Professional Football Players .

In 2006 he moved to the Belgian first division club KVC Westerlo , where he scored 20 goals in 31 games.

On January 18, 2008 he moved back to Ergotelis , who had meanwhile been promoted to the first Greek league. He is wearing the number 99 on his back. From January 2010 until the end of the season he was loaned to city rivals OFI Crete . After only 3 games for the Bulgarian first division club Lokomotive Plovdiv in the 10/11 season, he found no more employment. In spring 2012 the striker was signed by the Kazakh premier league promoted Aqschajyq Oral . A few months later, he moved to Anagennisi Epanomi in the Greek second division without a mission . There he played in eleven games for the rest of the season and scored five goals. During the winter break he moved to Olympiakos Volos , where he scored seven goals in 23 games by the end of the season. For the 2013/14 season he signed a contract with AO Achamaikos . After 11 games and three goals, however, the contract was terminated by mutual agreement. In 2014 he came to AE Ermionida , but after three months he already canceled his contract after it became known that he was not the first choice for coach Roberto Bolano.

After almost two years without a club, Ogunsoto has been playing for various lower-class Greek clubs since 2016. He is currently under contract with PO Moudanion .
