Patrick Saint-Éloi , called PSE (born October 20, 1958 in Guadeloupe , † September 18, 2010 in Pointe-à-Pitre ) was a Guadeloupian musician and singer .

Patrick Saint-Éloi, an admirer of Nat King Cole and Harry Belafonte , went to Paris at the age of 17 and took singing lessons there. At the beginning of his career, he was a member of the Zouk group Kassav ', touring around the world, for twenty years from 1982 . In parallel, he brought out a solo album called Mizik Sé Lanmou in 1985 . With the title "West Indies" he became the epitome of the Zouk Love musical style . In 2002 he left Kassav 'and returned to Guadeloupe, where he concentrated exclusively on his solo career. PSE, who from then on only sang in Creole, became the "voice of the Antilles". He died on September 18, 2010 as a result of cancer.
