Patrick Spät (* 1982 in Mannheim ) is a German author and journalist .

Life

Patrick Spät studied philosophy , sociology and literary history at the Universities of Mannheim, Leipzig and Freiburg from 2003 to 2008 . In 2010 he did his doctorate at the University of Freiburg in philosophy with a doctoral thesis on the mind-body problem and panpsychism .

As a freelance journalist, he mainly deals with social, historical and scientific topics. Spät writes for Zeit Online , Spiegel Online , der Freitag , Das Magazin and Spektrum der Wissenschaft , among others .

In his books he has dealt with various topics, for example with the mind -body problem , the meaning of life , the criticism of work and the criticism of capitalism . He is also active as a comics scenario .

He works as a freelance editor for Ullstein Verlag , Carl Hanser Verlag and Jung und Jung Verlag, among others .
