Patrizia Adam

Patrizia Adam (* 1962 ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ) and cantonal councilor in the constituency of St. Gallen .

Live and act

Adam grew up in Wil SG and attended the canton school at Burggraben in St. Gallen . After graduating from high school, she completed a law degree at the University of Freiburg , which she completed with a doctorate . Since 1990 she has been working as a lawyer in a fiduciary office, since 2000 she has also been a judge: from 2000 to 2005 she worked part-time at the cantonal insurance court, from 2005 she was a substitute judge at the cantonal court of St. Gallen.

Adam began her political career when she was elected to the St. Gallen city parliament in 2001. On November 25, 2012 Adam was elected to the St. Gallen city ​​council ; it was able to mobilize surprisingly more votes than the Social Democratic candidate . Adam was voted out of office in the 2017 city council renewal elections. Adam has also been a member of the St. Gallen Cantonal Council since June 2016.
