The Patuxent Ice Stream is a large ice stream in Queen Elizabeth Land, West Antarctica . In the Pensacola Mountains, it flows northwest to the upper section of the Foundation Ice Stream .
The area was mapped by the United States Geological Survey and United States Navy aerial photographs from 1955 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 in connection with the nearby Patuxent Range after the Naval Air Station Patuxent River .
