Paul-Maurice Choquet

Paul-Maurice Choquet CSC (born October 2, 1920 in Montreal , Canada ; † November 15, 1996 ) was auxiliary bishop in Cap-Haïtien .

Life

Paul Maurice Choquet joined the religious order of the Congregation of Holy Cross at and received on 24 June 1944, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 6, 1959, Pope John XXIII appointed him . the titular bishop of Diospolis Inferior and auxiliary bishop in Cap-Haïtien. The Archbishop of Montréal , Cardinal Paul-Émile Léger PSS , donated him episcopal ordination on September 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Montréal, Valérien Bélanger , and the bishop of Cap-Haïtien, Albert François Cousineau CSC.

Choquet attended the first, third and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council . On August 11, 1967, he resigned as auxiliary bishop in Cap-Haïtien.
