Paul Arthur Rabe (born November 20, 1903 in Meerane , † May 22, 1976 in Essen ) was a German politician ( National Socialist German Workers' Party ) and SA leader .

After attending the community school and the public commercial college in Zwickau , Paul Rabe earned his living as a bookseller in the assortment and commission book trade.

In 1923 Rabe joined the NSDAP and the Sturmabteilung (SA). In the SA he led Sturm 10 (Zwickau) from 1930. Then he was leader of Sturmbanns VI / 2 until January 1, 1932 and then leader of the newly established Standard 133. He was promoted to Standartenführer on July 1, 1933, to SA Oberführer on April 20, 1935; the promotion to brigade leader took place on April 20, 1936. In February 1935 he took over the leadership of the SA Brigade 33 (Dresden). From September 1943 to May 1945 he was at the same time (as the successor to Wilhelm Schepmann ) "commissioned" leader of the SA group in Saxony (Dresden).

From March 5, 1933 until the dissolution of this body on October 15, 1933, Paul Rabe sat in the Saxon state parliament . From November 1933 until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945 he was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag as a member of constituency 29 (Leipzig).

Since January 29, 1936, Rabe was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Saxony.
