Paul Bock
Paul Bock (born July 29, 1890 in Lübeck ; † March 23, 1968 there ) was a German entrepreneur and politician ( CDU ).
Life and work
After attending the humanistic grammar schools in Lübeck and Lüneburg , Bock completed commercial training in Lübeck (1907–1909), Rostov-on-Don (1909/10) and Saint Petersburg (1910). He then worked as a freight forwarder. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier , most recently as an officer.
Bock was the sole owner of the international freight forwarding company JG Nöltingk & Cordes from Lübeck , chairman of the professional association for freight forwarding and storage in Schleswig-Holstein and a member of the federal board of the forwarding and storage working group. He also acted as a commercial judge in Lübeck since 1947.
Political party
Bock joined the DDP in 1919 , to which he belonged until it was dissolved in 1933. In 1945 he was one of the founders of the CDU in Lübeck and was a member of the CDU zone committee for the British zone of occupation in 1946/47 .
MP
Bock was a member of Lübeck's citizenship in 1946/47 and 1950/51. He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1957. In parliament he represented the constituency of Lübeck .
