Paul Bonno

Paul Bonno (born January 29, 1954 in Tahiti ) is a former French cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

In 1975 he became French champion in the amateurs' single pursuit . after he had already become runner-up a year earlier. Also in 1975 he won the military world championship in single pursuit. In 1976 he took part in the Summer Olympic Games in Montreal . He started in the team pursuit , his team (in which Pierre Trentin also drove) finished 9th in the competition. In 1977 and 1978 he was in the team pursuit for France at the UCI Track World Championships . In 1979 and 1980 he won the stand-up race at the continental championships of Oceania .

Professional

After his career he worked as a cycling trainer in French Polynesia .
