Paul Bushkovitch

Paul Bushkovitch (born May 22, 1948 in St. Louis ) is an American historian .

Life

He earned a BA from Harvard University in 1970 and a Ph.D. at Columbia University . He teaches in the History Department at Yale University ( professor since 1992, associate professor (1980–1992), assistant professor (1975–1980)).

His areas of interest are Russia until 1800, Russian foreign policy and Orthodoxy and Empire.
