Paul Deselaers

Paul Deselaers (* 1947 in Geldern ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and non-fiction author.

Life

Paul Deselaers was born in 1947 as the third of six siblings. In 1981 he was at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster with the work Das Buch Tobit . Studies on its creation, composition and theology for Dr. theol. PhD. He later wrote a commentary on the book of Tobit for the Spiritual Reading Series .

From 1981 he worked in the Collegium Borromaeum Münster , initially as a sub-rain of the seminary of the diocese of Münster . In 1984 he was appointed spiritual by Bishop Reinhard Lettmann and thus successor to Johannes Bours . In 2012, he was adopted by Bishop Felix Genn as Spiritual of the Seminary. He is the parish priest in Greven - Gimbte and has been a lecturer in homiletics at the Catholic-Theological Faculty of the University of Münster since 2002 .
