Paul Franke (born April 27, 1892 in Breslau ; † May 22, 1961 in Northeim ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending school and training as a mechanic, Paul Franke took part in the First World War from 1914 to 1918 . From 1929 to 1933 he sat in the city council of Liegnitz and at the same time in the provincial parliament . For the Reich Propaganda Management of the NSDAP he took on tasks as a shock troop speaker . After 1933 he also served as mayor of Haynau .

From 1928 until the dissolution of this body in autumn 1933 Franke was a member of the Prussian state parliament . Then he was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag from November 1933 until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945 as a member of constituency 8 (Liegnitz).

After the Second World War , Franke came to Northeim as a displaced person. He was involved in the displaced party GB / BHE , for which he ran unsuccessfully in the Bundestag election in 1953 in the Northeim - Einbeck - Duderstadt constituency on the Lower Saxony state list.
