Paul Georg Lankisch

Paul Georg Lankisch (born May 2, 1943 in Posen ) is a German internist.

Life

After graduating from the Felix-Klein-Gymnasium Göttingen , Lankisch studied medicine at the Georg-August University from 1962 . On November 22, 1962 he became active in the Curonia Goettingensis . In the meantime at the University of Oxford and at the University Hospital Essen , he passed the state examination in Göttingen on December 12, 1968. There he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD . After a year as a medical assistant in Göttingen and Oldenburg (Oldb) , he was approved on March 10, 1970 . In 1970/71 he was a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Experimental Medicine . He then completed training in internal medicine at the Göttingen University Hospital . Medical specialist since 1976 , he specialized in gastroenterology . In 1978 he completed his habilitation. Senior physician since 1981 , he was appointed associate professor in 1983. From 1986 to 2007 he was chief physician at the Lüneburg Municipal Hospital . In 2018 he published a comprehensive history of the Corps Rubonia . It is dedicated to his father Dr. Paul Lankisch (1911–1988), the Federal Brother of the Academic-Scientific Association (Riga), Rubonus and Curonus Goettingensis.
