Pastor in the Berlin city mission
Möller took over the leadership of the Neukölln city mission congregation in Berlin on October 26, 1936, which went hand in hand with the inauguration of a new church hall, which was built by converting the former gymnasium of the house of the "Free Youth / YMCA South". At the same time Möller became inspector of the Berlin city mission . He belonged to the Confessing Church like his superior, City Mission Director Walter Thieme . At the beginning of the 1940s, as pastor of the Berlin city mission congregation, he put his protective cover over a Jewish family and hid them in the attic. In a commemorative publication for the 100th anniversary of the Neukölln City Missionary Congregation in 2006, Möller was honored in particular for his public advocacy and his help for fellow Jews “at the beginning of Nazi rule”.
