Paul Heckmann

Paul Heckmann (born January 11, 1909 in Fronhofen ; † May 5, 1980 in Friedrichshafen ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

After graduating from high school in Ellwangen in 1929, he studied law in Tübingen and Berlin from 1929 to 1934. Since his studies he has been a member of the Catholic student associations KStV Alamannia Tübingen and KStV Guestphalia Berlin. He passed the first state examination in law in 1934 and the second state examination in 1939. From 1939 to 1945 he did his military service and was in captivity from May to August 1945. From 1945 to 1947 he was a councilor at the Ravensburg District Office . In 1947 he became administrative administrator and in 1948 district administrator of the Biberach district . He held this office until 1973. In 1971 he received the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st Class.
