Paul Jaschke

Paul Jaschke (born April 18, 1966 in Bramsche ; † February 26, 2019 in Bad Oeynhausen ) was a German football player .

Career

Paul Jaschke came from the youth department of VfL Osnabrück , which had many talented players in the 1980s who also made it into the professional squad. Jaschke was nominated for the 1983/84 season by the then coach Carl-Heinz Rühl at the age of 17, and thus still an A-youth . In the first year, the attacker played 28 games and scored two goals. However, the Osnabrück rose with their younger team in the former Oberliga Nord . In the following 1984/85 season , VfL managed to return to the 2nd Bundesliga with Jaschke, now as a regular player . 1986 Jaschke moved to the league competitor Arminia Bielefeld . There he could not get by, only made six league appearances and returned to Osnabrück after only one season. He stayed there until 1991. The last two years he was converted into a defender. After the 1990/91 season Jaschke went into the amateur field. With Preußen Münster , he won the German amateur championship in 1994 alongside former Bundesliga professionals Uwe Tschiskale and Uwe Leifeld .

In total, he made 167 second division games, in which he scored seven goals.

Paul Jaschke last lived in Rieste and has two children.
