Paul Johnson is a retired American ski jumper .

Career

Johnson started his first and only international tournament in the 1962/63 Four Hills Tournament. After a 32nd place on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf , he reached the 49th place on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck . In the competition on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he finished in 45th place. In the last competition on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen , Johnson landed in 21st place and achieved his best individual result before he finished 31st with 671.7 points . Reached place in the tour's overall ranking.

In August 2013, Johnson was inducted into the American Ski Jumping Hall of Fame .
