Paul Losenhausen

Ferdinand Paul Losenhausen (born June 29, 1880 in Düsseldorf , † 1944 ) was a German lawyer and politician ( DVP ).

Life

Paul Losenhausen was born the son of the businessman and entrepreneur Joseph Losenhausen (1852-1919) and Karoline Schüller (1858-1924). After graduating from high school, he studied law, passed the first state examination in law in 1906 and then worked as a trainee lawyer at the Aachen Regional Court . In 1907 he was at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen for Doctor of Laws PhD (Dissertation: The legal status of the shareholder with special reference to its right to sue against management and supervisory boards. ).

Losenhausen worked as district court director and district judge in Aachen and from 1939 was the permanent representative of the district court president. He was also a member of the Provincial Commission for Institutional Affairs and a member of the Aachen District Committee.

Losenhausen was first chairman of the local chapter and chairman of the Aachen district association of the German People's Party (DVP) during the Weimar Republic . He was a city councilor in Aachen and a member of the provincial council of the Rhine Province . In May 1928 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged for a legislative period until 1932. In parliament he represented constituency 20 (Cologne-Aachen). In 1933 he joined the NSDAP .
