Paul Morley
Paul Morley (born March 26, 1957 ) is an English music journalist and producer .
Morley was born the son of a prison guard and grew up in Stockport . Between 1977 and 1983 he wrote for the music magazine New Musical Express , developing a new postmodern way of writing about pop music. He has since published other publications on the subject of music. In addition to the producer Trevor Horn , he was the founder of the record label ZTT Records and the band Art of Noise . With James Banbury he founded the band Infantjoy , who released the two albums With (2006) and Where the Night Goes (2005).
He was married to Claudia Brücken , who used to be a singer in the ZTT band Propaganda , and has a daughter with her. Brücken was in a relationship with Paul Humphreys ( Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark ) until 2013 and performs with him under the name Onetwo .
