Paul Schaaf (born September 16, 1888 in Canena ; † unknown) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending secondary school in Halle (Saale) , Schaaf joined the post and telegraph administration as a post office assistant in 1905. In the 1930s he achieved the rank of senior postal inspector at the Dresden-A1 post office.

In the period before the First World War , Schaaf was a volunteer in civil service organization and sports.

On March 1, 1930, Schaaf joined the NSDAP . In it, he initially took on tasks as selection manager in Leipzig from 1930 to 1931 . On September 24, 1931, he was appointed with the duties of Gau clerk for civil servant issues. Later, he was appointed Gauamtsleiter of the Office for Civil Servants and Gauwalter of the Reich Association of German Civil Servants in the Gau Saxony . In addition, Schaaf appeared as a Gauredner and Reichsfachspeaker and was a member of the Saxony Chamber of Labor.

From 1932 to 1933 Schaaf was a member of the Saxon state parliament. He then sat from November 12, 1933 until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945 as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 29 (Leipzig) .
