Paul Scheffler

Paul Scheffler (born September 2, 1907 in Limbach , † after 1965) was a German party functionary of the GDR block party NDPD . For many years he was chairman of the NDPD district committee in Suhl .

Life

Scheffler was a teacher by profession and joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) on May 1, 1933 . After the Second World War he became a member of the National Democratic Party of Germany (NDPD) in 1948. From 1950 to 1953 he was a teacher, deputy head and head of the NDPD state party school in Saxony. From 1955 to 1965 he was chairman of the NDPD district association Suhl (successor to Konrad von Unruh ) and at the same time a member of the main committee of the NDPD. Scheffler was also a member of the Suhl district assembly .
