Paul Seibold

Paul Seibold (born November 1, 1871 in Eibenstock , † 1954 in Hamburg ) was a Prussian politician ( SPD ), member of the Bundestag and district administrator .

Life

Seibold learned the trade of a carpenter after he had finished elementary school. From 1895 he was a member of the board of the branch, later also of the Gauvorstandes German Woodworkers Association in Dresden . From March 1909 to 1918 Seibold was the full-time manager of the woodworkers' association in Breslau . From 1915 to 1918 he participated in the war.

In November 1918, Seibold was elected second chairman of the People's Council in Breslau and was a member of the Provincial Council of Silesia. From 1919 to 1920 he worked as a city councilor in Wroclaw. From June 1920 to February 1921 Seibold served as acting district administrator and then from March 1921 to 1931 as district administrator in the Nimptsch district . From 1920 to 1931 Seibold was a member of the Prussian State Council and a member of the Lower Silesian Provincial Parliament, and in 1922 he was chairman of the Provincial Parliament.

In 1933, the Nazis imprisoned Seibold for several months in the Breslau-Dürrgoy concentration camp .
