Paul Siebertz (lawyer)

Paul Siebertz (* 1948 in Vienna ) is an Austrian lawyer and chairman of the ARD program advisory board .

Career

After an apprenticeship at the Bayerische Vereinsbank in Munich, Siebertz studied law and history in Regensburg, Würzburg and Munich. After traineeship and doctorate at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, he returned to Bayerische Vereinsbank, later Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG , in 1977 , most recently as a member of the board responsible for human resources and real estate finance.

Since 2002 he has represented the Association of Bavarian Business in the Broadcasting Council of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation . As a representative of the BR Broadcasting Council, he has been a member of the ARD program advisory board since 2007. In April 2013 he was elected as the new chairman of the ARD program advisory board. On July 15, 2013, the Bavarian State Minister for Science, Research and Art, Wolfgang Heubisch , presented him with the Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his commitment to social and cultural issues .
