Paul Vermeiren
Paul Vermeiren (born August 27, 1963 in Herentals ) is a Belgian archer .
Vermeiren took part in three Olympic Games . In 1988 in Seoul he was 17th in the individual, which he was able to improve with 12th place in the 1992 Barcelona ; four years later in Atlanta he narrowly missed the medals in fourth. With the team he was eliminated in 1988 in 18th place before the main round.
Vermeiren shoots for the St. Sebastiaan Wuustwezel club . In 2003 he announced his withdrawal from active sport. He is a professional soldier and has been deployed in Kosovo and Afghanistan.
