Paul Wünsche (born September 11, 1922 in Lauban , † December 16, 2016 in Bamberg ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

After finishing elementary school, Wünsche learned the trade of textile industrial clerk. From 1941 to 1945 he was a soldier in World War II , in 1947 he returned from a Soviet prisoner-of-war camp, and since then he has been based in Bamberg . Wish was the diocesan secretary of the Christian Workers Youth , attended the Catholic Social Institute and was head of the Catholic People's Office and diocesan secretary of the Catholic Workers' Movement in Bamberg from 1954 to 1987 .

In 1952, Wünsche joined the CSU. He was deputy state chairman of the CSU and chairman of the Christian Social Workers 'Union, the CSU workers' union , in Upper Franconia and deputy district chairman of the CSU in Bamberg. From 1960 to 1970 she was a councilor in Bamberg. On October 24, 1968, he replaced the late Rudolf Reißenweber in the Bavarian state parliament , after which he was directly elected five times in the Bamberg-Stadt constituency, so that he was a member of the state parliament until 1990. From 1974 to 1986 he was chairman of the parliamentary committee for federal and European affairs.

Paul Wünsche lived in Bamberg until his death.

His son is the Bamberg Cathedral Chapter Peter Wünsche.
