Paul Weissensteiner (born December 21, 1990 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Weissensteiner began his career with SC Team Wiener Linien . In 2002 he switched to the youth team at VfB Admira Wacker Mödling . He made his debut for the Lower Austrian amateur team in the regional league in May 2007, when he came on as a substitute for Mario Hofecker on matchday 27 of the 2006/07 season against the Wiener Sportklub in stoppage time.

After the professional's license was withdrawn, he played for the first time in the regional league against SV Horn in 2007 . In January 2008 he was awarded as a cooperation player to the second division team ASK Schwadorf . He made his debut for Schwadorf in the second division in April 2008, when he was brought into the game on the 29th matchday of the 2007/08 season against FC Kärnten in the 62nd minute for Thomas Reitprecht .

In the summer of 2008, ASK Schwadorf was relocated to Mödling and renamed FC Trenkwalder Admira . Weissensteiner then continued to play with the actual Admira, which had become the amateur team of the new Admira. There were no professional assignments for Weissensteiner for Admira.

For the 2011/12 season Weissensteiner moved to SK Schwadorf 1936 , the successor to the original ASK Schwadorf, for which Weissensteiner had also played, in the Lower Austrian regional league . In summer 2012 he moved to league rivals SC Mannsdorf . After a season he left the club from Mannsdorf an der Donau again. After having been without a club for six months, however, he returned to Mannsdorf in January 2014. With Mannsdorf he was promoted to the regional league in 2016.
