Paul Werner (lawyer)
Paul Werner (born July 23, 1913 in Kassel ; † June 24, 2003 ) was a German lawyer.
Career
Werner was the son of the college teacher Carl Werner and his wife Maria Werner. He studied law and later worked for the Bavarian Auditing Association for Public Funds. In 1958 he joined Bayern-Versicherung as a deputy member of the board and took over the entire internal organization. He became a full member of the Board of Directors in 1963 and General Manager of the company in 1964. From 1967 he was chairman of the association of public life and liability insurers. In 1978 he retired into private life.
