Paul Zierz

Paul Zierz (born January 30, 1913 in Friedland in Upper Silesia , † September 3, 1971 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) was a German physician.

Life

Zierz studied medicine and was established in 1940 with the work the question of Sulfanilamidcyanosen at the University of Kiel to Dr. med. PhD. He worked as a doctor in Breslau and Kiel. In 1952 he completed his habilitation in Heidelberg with the text Liver dysfunction and skin diseases: experimental and clinical studies to clarify the relationship between liver dysfunction and skin diseases with a therapeutic contribution . He worked as a senior physician at the Dermatology Clinic of Heidelberg University Hospital, where he taught as a private lecturer. In 1957 he was appointed adjunct professor at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg .

From 1958 until his death in 1971 he was chief physician at the dermatology clinic at the Ludwigshafen am Rhein Clinic . He was considered an expert in diagnostics in allergology, andrology and mycology. He was a member of the German Dermatological Society (DGG) .

He was involved in numerous social projects in the Holy Land . In 1971 he was appointed Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Eugène Cardinal Tisserant and invested on May 25, 1971 by Lorenz Cardinal Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy .
