Paul Ziller (director)

Paul Ziller (born January 21, 1957 in New York City ) is an American - Canadian director , screenwriter and film producer .

life and career

Ziller studied film and television at New York University , where he graduated in the early 1980s. Ziller moved to Los Angeles , specializing in the School of Filmmaking by Roger Corman in creating low-budget films .

Eventually Ziller moved back to Canada and now lives in Vancouver . In 2000, he and Elizabeth Sanchez founded the Artsy Fartsy Pictures Inc. film studio . Ziller contacted Corman again, and Corman agreed to distribute the studio's first film, Avalanche Alley .
