Paul Zimmermann (politician, 1900)
Paul Zimmermann (born January 22, 1900 in Elberfeld , † November 11, 1976 in Korbach ) was a German local politician.
Career
Zimmermann studied economics and social sciences in Cologne and received his doctorate in 1922. In 1923, at the age of 23, he became Germany's youngest mayor in Mengeringhausen . From 1927 to 1945 he was mayor of the Hessian district town of Korbach . On May 5th he was removed from office by the Allies. From July 1, 1948 to 1967, however, he was re-elected mayor Korbach.
