Paul von Schroeter
Paul Julius Sigismund Schroeter , since June 11, 1902 von Schroeter (born February 8, 1858 in Breslau , † December 30, 1907 in Nieborowitzer Hammer in the Rybnik district of Upper Silesia ) was a German administrative officer and owner of entails. He was the brother of Heinrich von Schroeter .
Life
Paul von Schroeter attended the Maria-Magdalenen-Gymnasium in Breslau . He studied at the Universities of Wroclaw , Tübingen and then Breslau law . In 1876 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Breslau . In 1877 he joined the Corps Suevia Tübingen . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. In 1891 he became the district administrator of the district Tost-Gleiwitz appointed. On June 11, 1902, he was raised to the Prussian nobility, and with Imperial permission, his step-sons Otto and Kurt were also raised to the nobility under the name Friedrich-Schroeter. On October 1, 1905, he resigned from the office of district administrator. When he was discharged from the civil service, he was appointed a secret councilor. He became a member of the Provincial Committee.
Von Schroeter was the owner of the Fideikommisse Schyglowitz and Nieborowitzer Hammer in the Rybnik district.
