Paula Staschus-Floeß

Paula Staschus-Flöß (* 19th November 1878 or 1879 in Frankfurt am Main , † 1955 ) was a German painter of Impressionism . In addition, she drew and worked in the field of printmaking .

Life

Paula Staschus-Flöß studied with Olof Jernberg and Heinrich Wolff at the Academy in Königsberg and from 1897 in Munich with Simon Hollósy and Hermann Groeber and then in Berlin with Ernst Bischoff-Culm. Together with her husband, the graphic artist Daniel Staschus, she worked in the Nidden artists' colony in East Prussia.

After 1945 she settled in Wiesbaden and had her studio at Adolfsallee 10.
