Paulo André Cren Benini , called Paulo André , (born August 20, 1983 in Campinas , SP ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .
Career
General
Paulo André started his apprenticeship at São Paulo FC . Here he could not convince and had to continue in lower-class clubs until he came to Guarani FC in 2003. Here he was able to play his first league games.
societies
In 2005, Paulo André then moved to Atletico Paranaense. His good performances here convinced the French club Le Mans FC to sign him from 2006. He injured his knee after just three games. It was only in the 2008/09 season after next that he was able to participate in the game again. Although Fabiano played most of the games this season, he was loaned to Corinthians from São Paulo at the end of the season. When the one-year loan expired, the contract with Le Mans also ended and the player was signed by Corinthians. With the club he achieved his greatest successes, such as B. winning the Brazilian Championship in 2011 and the Club World Championship in 2012.
In spring 2015 it was bought by the Cruzeiro EC from Belo Horizonte . After 31 games in various competitions, the player was loaned to his home stadium Atletico Paranaense in early 2016 . In 2017 he was permanently taken over by the club. He ended his active career in June 2019.
