Pavel Řezníček (writer)
Pavel Řezníček (born January 30, 1942 in Blansko , † September 19, 2018 in Prague ) was a Czech writer , poet and translator .
Life
Pavel Řezníček left school after eleven years of school and began to work in various jobs. He published several samizdats illustrated by Martin Stejskal . From 1974 he lived in Prague, where he worked in various craft jobs before he was employed by the post office from 1989 to 2002. He then lived in Prague as a pensioner.
Řezníček's works are assigned to surrealism . His work was inspired by André Breton , Paul Éluard , Vítězslav Nezval and Vratislav Effenberger .
He translated several literary texts by Joyce Mansour , Ambroise Vollard and Benjamin Péret from French into Czech.
