Pavel David (born October 17, 1978 in Jindřichův Hradec , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech football player .
David's career led him in 1999 from Slavia Prague to the Regionalliga Süd to SC Pfullendorf . During the 2000/01 season he moved to 1. FC Nürnberg , for whose professional team he was used in 28 games until 2004. After two years with Rot-Weiß Erfurt , the striker signed a contract with Dynamo Dresden in 2006 , which had just been relegated to the regional league in the 2nd Bundesliga. Dynamo Dresden finally managed to qualify for the new 3rd soccer league in 2007/08 , but he could not agree on a new contract with his club. For the 2008/09 season he then moved to Halleschen FC , which had just made it to the Regionalliga Nord. For Halle he played a total of 81 games in which he scored 22 goals. In his last season at HFC, which this season achieved the long-awaited promotion to the 3rd division, David was injured for a long time and only had six missions. Because of his ailing health, he announced at the end of the season that he would end his playing career.
