Pawel Alexejewitsch Kanarski ( Russian Павел Алексеевич Канарский ; born February 25, 1982 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Vysschaja Hockey League since June 2015 .

Career

Pawel Kanarski began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the PHK Krylja Sowetow Moscow , for whose professional team he was active from 1999 to 2001 in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division. In the 2000/01 season he also played for league rivals Disel Pensa . From 2001 to 2003, the defender played for one year each for the second division side THK Tver and Kristall Saratow , before spending another three years with Krylja Sowetow in the second class. In the 2005/06 season he rose with his team in the super league . With Krylja Sowetow he also started the 2006/07 season in the Super League before moving to league rivals SKA Saint Petersburg in the middle of the season , for which he played for a year across seasons. He then played for two and a half years for Severstal Tscherepowez , for whom he was on the ice from 2008 to 2010 in the Continental Hockey League .

He started the 2010/11 season at his home club PHK Krylja Sowetow Moscow in the new second Russian division, the Wysschaja Hockey League , before moving to KHL participant Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the middle of the season.
