Pavel Alexandrovich Kostin ( Russian Павел Александрович Костин * 14. March 1985 ) is a Russian cross country - Sommerbiathlet .

Pawel Kostin made his international debut at the IBU Summer Cup 2008 in Osrblie . There he was third in the sprint race behind Marek Matiaško and Vitalii Kabardin . After that, due to the high level of performance of the Russian summer biathletes, he only rarely came to other international assignments. The first major event was the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell . In the sprint he completed a complete triumph for the Russian team in fourth place behind Sergei Balandin , Alexander Katschanowski and Sergei Zhernov . In the pursuit race based on this, the Russian could not keep his place. With 12 errors in 20 shots, he fell back to ninth place.
