Pawel Runow ( Ukrainian Павло Рунов Pawlo Runow ; Russian Павел Рунов Pawel Runow ; born July 12, 1976 in Uzhhorod , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian accordion player.

Life

At the age of seven he attended music school in 1983 and the musical college in 1991. In 2000 he completed his training at the academy.

Pawel Runow lives in Milan ( Italy ) and, in addition to his active musical work, is also active in education . His repertoire extends to works by Johann Sebastian Bach , Ludwig van Beethoven , Gioachino Rossini , Heinrich Weber , Johannes Brahms , Johann Strauss , Franz Liszt , Niccolò Paganini . Runow also appears repeatedly as a street musician , for example in 2008 or in July 2010 in Zurich in the entrance area of ​​the Wasserkirche, the so-called Helmhaus .

In 1995 Runow took part in the International competition for performes on folk instruments in Chmelnyzkyj , ( Ukraine ), in 1996 in the International competition of accordionists "Coupe Mondiale" in Dunajská Streda ( Slovakia ), in 1998 in the International competition "The Cup of Krivbass " in Krywyj Rih (Ukraine ) and international competition accordionists in Klingenthal ( Germany ) as well as in 2001 in the international competition "The Cup of Krivbass" in Krywyj Rih (Ukraine).
