Pavel Szajda

Pawel Szajda (born January 13, 1982 in Farmington , Connecticut ) is an American actor of Polish descent.

Szajda grew up with three brothers and a sister as the child of Polish parents in his native Farmington. He was state champion in wrestling of the US state Connecticut at the "Farmington High School", which he graduated in 1999.

He made his first appearance before a camera in 1996, when a promotional film for the Olympic Games in Atlanta . He made his acting debut in 2003 in the film adaptation of the autobiography of Frances Mayes ' Under the Tuscan Sun (Under the Tuscan Sun) , directed by Audrey Wells . There he plays a Polish construction worker who is rejected by the father of his Italian girlfriend. In 2008 he starred in the film Der Kalmus by Polish director and Oscar winner Andrzej Wajda . Further film and television appearances followed.
