Peach Weber (born October 14, 1952 in Wohlen , Canton Aargau ; actually Peter Mario Weber ) is a Swiss comedian . He is known to a wide audience primarily in German-speaking Switzerland through tours and occasional television appearances.

Career

After training as a primary school teacher , he soon became known for his humorous songs - including Ich bi de Borkechäfer , Sun, fun and nothing to do and Öberall het's Pilzli draa - and conquered the Swiss charts with his singles and live albums .

For his album Früh vo de Läbere he was awarded the Prix ​​Bernhard .

On November 11, 2008, Peach Weber opened the advance booking for his farewell performance entitled “Ready Luschtig” in the Zurich Hallenstadion on October 15, 2027, one day after his 75th birthday . According to media reports from December 16, 2015, the concert was just sold out with 9500 tickets at that time. Due to the fast sale of the tickets, Peach Weber has announced an afternoon performance. 2000 tickets were already sold for this performance in October 2017.

In November 2010 he ran for the second time for the Eurovision Song Contest under the stage name PeaCheese . His submitted title I will win did not make it into the final show on December 11, 2010.

After 33 years on stage, Peach Weber went on the “Wörldtour” in 2011 with the Mister Gaga program and in 2014 with Gäx Bomb .

Peach Weber has a daughter from a previous relationship.
