The Peak River is a river in the southeast of the Australian state of New South Wales .

It rises on the eastern slopes of the Bogong Peaks in the northern part of the Kosciuszko National Park . From there it flows to the northwest and flows into the Goobarragandra River .

Without exception, the Peak River runs through unpopulated, mostly high alpine area.
